Literacy

Fort Worth libraries play an essential role in the community by fostering a love of reading in people of all ages. Additionally, the 19-branch library system provides access to free programs, tools, and services that support community-building through literacy and education.

LaunchPad

LaunchPad supports local high school students with free professional assistance and counseling during the college application process. LaunchPad students receive guidance on school selection, essay writing, recommendation letters, resume writing, interviewing, and time management.

STEaM

Weekly, after school STEAM programs introduce grade-schoolers to concepts like electronics building, coding, problem-solving, and teamwork through fun projects in science, technology, engineering, art and math.

High School Equivalency Program

HSE is the only free, Spanish-language program in Tarrant County that provides educational resources and materials that help prepare adults to take the GED-equivalency test.
